Tribute to Chris Pellant.

Eric Middleton (M 58-69) writes:

“Like a number of my old pupils, I also kept in touch with Chris.

He wrote in my last book of his special places (thin places where heaven and earth are very close) in north Scotland, Achmelvich in Sutherland, and also in Inverkirkaig - his special places were also Leeds General Infirmary, where he had an operation for bowel cancer. When he left the ward, Chris wrote, 'I lay and thought things over and almost at once had a weird feeling of calm and peace, the experience was almost spiritual and certainly life-changing' (quote from my book 'Surprised by the Spirit').”
